Wow! This 1981 Jeep CJ7 Renegade finished in color code 1A "Montana Blue" is a stunning survivor. If there's one thing AMC nailed back in the late 70s and early 80s, we'd call it their blue color codes! Of all the unique and vibrant blues AMC offered, Montana Blue is by far the most seldom seen color found, mainly because it was a 1981 only option with limited 81 CJs offered during that model year. This CJ is in beautiful survivor-quality condition with minimal surface rust on the floorboards. There is no rot present anywhere on this vehicle. As they say, they're "only original once" and this vehicle is a true example of a survivor CJ. You can expect this Jeep to always remain a timeless classic, worthwhile investment, and smile generator!
Vehicle spent its whole life in South Dakota in a dry climate with only two owners. Seller has owned this vehicle for approximately 1 year. During that time the vehicle received cosmetic refreshing consisting of detailing paint and corrections, replacing any non working or worn parts and detailing. Over 40 hours of work was performed to preserve this 81 Jeep CJ7 as close to original as possible.
